The first family below are my great-great grandparents, William and Elizabeth Grubham, the parents of Philip Grubham. The next family are my great-great grandparents, James and Elizabeth Bury the parents of Eliza Bury. Philip married Eliza and they were my great grandparents and one of their children was my grandmother Lucy Grubham, who married John William Jones and one of their children was Doris Eliza Jones, who married John Edward Holland, and they were my parents.

William was the son of Joseph and Harriet Grubham of Bringsty.

His Father was a Bricklayer.
Elizabeth was the daughter of Daniel and Sarah Daniell
Her Father was a Labourer.
William was baptised at Whitbourne on the 30th January, 1825 by J. H. Higgs.
Elizabeth was baptised Friday, 12th May, 1821.
William - Very decent old man of the roads.
Elizabeth - a sister of **Sarah Caswell.
Then living at Yew Tree Hall, Ankerdine.

Born: 1st November, 1842. b.b daughter of Elizabeth Daniell.
Married: James Williams,
On: 12th February, 1866. He 24, She 24.
Died: 13th November, 1918.

Died: and was buried on the 20th April, 1942 (aged 78) by the Rector, J. R. Burns.
At the time he was living at the Laurels, Ankerdine. His brother Philip Grubham's house.

The following gives details of James and Elizabeth Berry, their daughter Eliza Berry married Philip Grubham and they were my Great Grandparents.

James and Elizabeth Berry (Elizabeth was nee Passey)
Married: 1844, in Little Hereford.

Then Living at Agberrow View the local census document which was where the Sanatorium was and what is to day called the Sunningdale Estate, which is half way up Ankerdine Hill. James worked at Ankerdine Farm.

Died: 19th January 1887

If you see Bury anywhere on this genealogy site it refers to Berry, the correct spelling, it is easy to see in some of the writing that the (er) looks like a (u).

Richard Grubham (Philip Grubham's brother) is the chap with grey hair and beard in some of the Grubham photos. Smaller than Philip but very similar in looks. Richard and his wife Jane were my Great/Grand Uncle and Aunty. Their daughter Annie married Frank Earnest Sefton and one of their children was Jean Sefton who married Derek Lloyd. Jean and I are Second Cousins 1 x removed.
