They did a lot of trips together, with Josephine showing them many of the beautiful places that we have in this country.

Gunvald and Jo spent a lot of time after their wedding touring Wales, before eventually making their way back to Denmark, where they lived for 7 years and had two sons Jand and Mark Stenersen, before making their way back to Norway, where they have lived ever since. They have both travelled a lot and have been to England many times and also to Denmark, where they still have a Summer House. Also they have bee to many other countries around the world, to many to mention.

Jo had a little Austin A30 which she treasured and used this to get around in . I love this photo because it shows the Post Office behind her, where we all lived exactly as I always remember it. Dad had some paint from his friends in Wales, and painted the whole house in it. Next door you can still see the original little Bridge Cottage, where our neighbors, the Morris family lived. When Jo bought the car Dad thought she had paid to much for it, but to his surprise when Jo came to sell it a couple of years later, she actually got more for it than she had originally paid!!
