(Uncle to Esther above) Jean Flowers. (daughter of Roland and Gertrude Flowers) Lydia Flowers. (nee Fox) Michael C Flowers. (son of Claude and Lydia Flowers) Mary Evelyn Flowers. (daughter of Claude and Lydia Flowers) Alexandra M. Hartshorne. Address: The Laurels, Ankerdine Hill, Knightwick, Worcestershire. (Two others lived at this address). Lydia was there with her daughter Mary and son Michael, and probably her husband Claude Flowers. That leaves the other person to be either Rowland or Gertrude, the parents of Jean Flowers. Of course the two who were not shown may also have been younger members of the family? |

In the 1911 Census, Nathaniel Flowers says he had 5 children and 3 had died. Rowland Flowers (Son) Claude Flowers (Son) Rowland S. Flowers. Jean Flowers was their daughter. Claude R. Flowers. Mary Evelyn Flowers was their daughter. (Possibly, Evelyn Mary, other way round) Michael C Flowers was their son. In the 1939 Reg. Lydia Flowers, Claude's wife is staying at the Laurels with her daughter Mary Evelyn Flowers and son Michael Flowers. Also Jean Flowers, the daughter of Rowland and Gertrude Flowers. *Joseph Grubham was Philip Grubham's brother and uncle to his daughter, Esther Elizabeth (Grubham/Flowers) Wootton. |
