MARRIAGE INDEX

Relationship to Philip Holland

John and Catherine (Lloyd) Jones were my Great-great Grandparents.

William and Ann Ellison were my Great-great Grandparents too.

John Jones son John Lloyd Jones married William and Ann's daughter Harriet Ellison and they were my Great Grandparents.

John Lloyd Jones daughter Annie Elizabeth Jones married Rowland Wilkinson from West Melton, Yorkshire. They were my Grand Uncle and Aunty.

Their daughter Norah Ellison Wilkinson, married Douglas Mackay. Norah was my mother's (Doris Eliza Jones) cousin.

Norah and Douglas had a daughter Jean Mackay who would have been my third cousin. Jean became a Bartholmews Nurse and lived in Wiltshire.

Douglas Mackay was a Captain in the army in India. His leg was fractured by a Donkey and he had to retire from the army. He then looked after Pit Ponies in Shipley, Yorkshire, until the day Pit Ponies were no longer needed down the mines.
