Garston Phillips (Friend of the family and Godfather to Alex) Philip Edward Holland, Heather Dawn Holland and children, Richard Mark John Holland and Alex James Edward Holland.

Standing by the Talbot Hotel, Knightwick, with the Post Office in the background, which was lived and worked in by first the Jones' (my grandparents) then the Holland's (my mother and father).

Alex had just been Christened Sunday, 24th August, 1986, at St Mary's Church, Knightwick, Worcestershire. Alex was nearly 3 years old.

The family were living in Worcester, when this photograph was taken.

Richard and Alex's parents Dawn and Philip lived at the Post Office at Knightwick prior to that. Philip's mum, Doris Eliza Holland had died in (1974) and they stayed there with Philip's dad, John Edward Holland, until 1978.

Alex, like his brother Richard, also lived at 5. Ribble Close, Ronkswood, Worcester until they were seven and five years of age (Richard being the eldest). The photograph on the left shows Alex, about 10 or 11 years old walking back home with his brother and father.
