Above the Chapel doorway is a framwork holding
a window originally housed in St Mary's Church,
Knightwick. Either side of this are the two bells that
were in the Knightwick Church Steeple, which rang
to inform everyone in the village that a service was
about to take place.

First World War (1914-1918)
About the memorial: Wall stained glass window
mounted above west door of the chapel in a light
box. Reportedly relocated to the Knightwick (mortuary)
chapel after St Mary's church in Knightwick (where it
was formerly held) was made redundant in 2008. The
window commemorates Lieutenant Francis Humphrey
John Greswolde-Williams, only son of Mr and Mrs
Greswolde Williams of Knightwick, Worcestershire who
was killed in action at Pandamugi Dill Lindi, East Africa
on 3rd August 1917, 5 days before his 18th birthday.
He was buried at Dar Es Salaam War Cemetery,
Tanzania, Grave 6. J. 18. Cross ref 52098 in case this
is the same WM. Also see WM10398 (WMT)
WMO244337, which has relevant info.
