After they were married in 1938, Dad and Mum lived at 15 Underhill Street, Bridgnorth, Salop, with Tom and Edith Williams. Tom and Edith went to live in Pontlottyn, Bargoed Glamorgan, Wales. And their family and ours have been friends for many years. 15 Underhill Street and other houses surrounding it have since been knocked down.

By the time Josephine was born, 5th April, 1939, Mum and Dad were living at, 1 Laurel Villas, Oldbury, Bridgnorth, Salop. Dad is holding Josephine in his arms. Mouse over the picture and it will change to one of myself taken in October 2006, standing in front of the same window. Very kindly the owner, Lynda Cattell allowed me to have the photograph taken. When Josephine was born dad was working as a Porter at Bridgnorth Railway Station.
