Here is a photograph of Doris Eliza Jones daughter of Lucy (Grubham) Jones and John William Jones (Doris was my mother and married John Edward Holland). Also her cousin Mabel Grubham daughter of Henry (Harry) Grubham and Alice (Baker) Grubham. Lucy and Harry were brother and sister. Mum was two years older than Mabel. I wonder if they based the style of dress on Alice In Wonderland? The house they are standing next to is in a number of photo's I have. I wonder who owned it

Mabel and her parent's Henry (Harry) and Alice Grubham. This is how I remember them. They are on the lawn at the Post Office, Knightwick, Worcester. This is where I lived. They are standing in front of the tent I just been given by mum and dad. Dad's greenhouse is in the background and beyond that is the back Orchard leading up to Bridge Coppice.

Harry and Alice were living at Clifton-on-Teme. Harry died in 1964 and Alice in 1968
