Here the Brownies have assembled at Knightwick School with their mushroom, which they used for their group name and behind them you can see the Alms Houses.

Miss Mabel Frances Heath, Headmistress of Knightwick School is standing behind and I think that my mother's cousin, Mabel Ganderton, is 5th from the left of the girls.
Mabel was born on the 10th April 1917 and so this photo is circa 1925-28. Miss Heath became Headmistress of Knightwick school in 1923.
