Joseph Doman died 7 years later in 1937.

Uncle Frank (Francis Cuthbert Jones) was born in Cardiff in 1901 and was almost the same age as Mary Doman. Before Frank went out with Amy Court from Doddenham (who he married) he had courted Mary Doman, who I expect was single under her nee name of Davies. Grandpa lost his wife Lucy Grubham on the 12th June, 1951 (She was 75 years old) and so it was only sixteen months later when he remarried.

I believe that the family were all upset that he was marrying again and especially to Mary.

I thought it was rather odd that Frank who was a witness to the wedding was there, as it must have been strange for him seeing his ex girlfriend marrying his father!
