John Jones was Head Gardener on the Cloverley Hall Estate. He lived at Cloverley Gardens (next to Cloverley Farm) along the road that crosses through the estate to the Hall, with his wife Catherine (Lloyd) Jones and their family. John and Catherine Jones were my Great-great Grandparents their son John Lloyd Jones was my Great Grandfather he also worked as an apprentice gardener on the estate with his father. The black and white aerial photo is of the farm but you can see the old greenhouses of Cloverley Gardens (bottom right). Then in the colour aerial photo you can see Cloverley Gardens, where they all lived. I visited here with my cousins Julia and Jennifer Ganderton (we share the same Great and Great-great Grandparents on the Jones side) in August 2005. Many thanks to the owners of both places, who kindly allowed me to take digital photos of their original aerial photos.
