Photograph/postcard (Many thanks to Major [Retd] Janet Brodie-Murphy) showing outside chalets for the sufferers of tuberculosis (TB), at Knightwick Sanatorium.

This is a really intersting photo, as it shows some of the chalets where patients with TB lived, and was behind the main house and not visible in most of the photos that I have on this site. I think that the big house above is the Castle, which may have had a lot knocked down years later making it a smaller residence, and if so the house to the left would be Haywood Cottage, where my Grandfather John William Jones went to live with his second wife Mary (nee Davies) after he retired as sub-postmaster of Knightwick Post Office.
