Victorian altar table, with painted frame and panels now mostly hidden under the frontal. In front is the Communion Rail.
In the corner you can see a large wooden cross. This large Cross is something most Christians are familiar with at Easter time. The Cross is often carried a short distance down the church aisle on Good Friday for the re-enactment of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Above the altar is the east window, with the depiction of Jesus on the Cross.
