I wanted to put this photo in of a party at the Laurels. Sitting on the left is my great grandfather, Philip Grubham. The three girls on right are Doris Hayward, her elder sister Mabel Hayward and their cousin Doris Jones. The photo I think was taken circa. 1929. Doris Hayward was born in 1921, Mabel Hayward in 1917 and Doris Jones in 1909. Doris Hayward married Benjamin Bayliss (14th January 1950), Mabel Hayward married Sidney Ganderton (14th February 1942) and Doris Jones married John Edward Holland (16th April 1938). On the far side of table in a suite is Bowden Wooton, who married Esther Grubham (15th June 1929). I do not know any of the others
