Henry Grubham was a Postman. Here he is collecting post from one of the local Royal Mail Post Boxes. Interestingly as I was looking at this photo I noticed the sign above the postbox says, C. B. Perkins, Licensed to sell Tobacco (and perhaps ale).

Some info showing Uncle Harry registered as a postman, and living in Clifto-on-Teme which he did at No 2 Old Road, Clifto-on-Teme.
