Albert William Grubham was the first child to Philip and Eliza Grubham. He was my great uncle and he came to live with us at the Post Office in his last years alive and died when he was 90 years old. I often thought, why is this old man here, now I realise what it was all about. As a youngster you do not allways understand that the older people were once young and good looking and had done the things that you were doing at that age, once up on a time.
