Photograph (Many thanks to Major [Retd] Janet Brodie-Murphy & Paul Durrant) Unfortunately we do not know who these men are or where they are from. The exciting part is that these photos were taken and dated 1911. For me I see the fields below Lords Wood (I have actually been walking there several times this year 2021) 110 years after they had their camp there!!! Where ever they were all from they had obviously ridden their bikes, carrying all their gear and tents. The chap on the right has a gun, others have fishing rods and other fishing equipment. In front is the football, which they obviously from the last photograph used for a game of football on the Ham meadows by the River Teme. I love the fact that someone had carried a great big gramaphone so they could all have music there amazing!! Even the gramaphone records can be seen.
