The above stone was removed in 1863 and was reused as part of the kitchen floor in a cottage in Willow Lane. By the time it was restored to the churchyard it was broken and most of the dedications were lost. Fortunately a list of grave inscriptions is included in the Davenport Notes; and the complete deadication above was taken from there.

This was the Grandfather and Grandmother of Rev'd.Samuel Pritchett and Great-grandfather and Great- grandmother of the *Rev'd. John Pritchett M.A.

Although Samuel Pritchett was buried at Wichenford, I could not find any stone or anything else to prove where he was buried.

I did find the following regards the parents of the Rev'd.Samuel Pritchett and grandparents of his son, *Rev'd. John Pritchett M.A.

Another stone that was also removed from the churchyard in 1863, and reused as part of the kitchen floor in a cottage in Willow Lane.

Charles Dunster was born in 1750, and received the early part of his education at the Rev. Mr. Samuel Pritchett's, Rector of Knightwick (1734) in this county; he was formerly under master of the King's or College School, Worcester, and afterwards at Knightwick, where
*
he built the parsonage house, and formed an earthly Eden. He prepared many celebrated characters for the universities.

Charles Dunster was instituted to the Worcestershire rectories of Oddingley and Naunton Beauchamp in 1776, and in 1789 (Arnold, Petworth) to that of Petworth in Sussex. He became rural dean of West Sussex, and held the rectory of Petworth until his death 24th April, 1816.

*Not sure, if this means Dunster built the Rectory or Pritchett! My own guess is that it was Samuel Pritchett, as I think Dunster was the student and too young.
