In October 1927, Laurence married, Bessie G Brittain, in Fylde, Lancashire.

In the 1939 register; they were all living at, 74 Albany Road, Lytham St. Anne's, Lancashire. Laurence was a Theological student.

On the 13th February, 1947 the family left Southampton, to sail to Uganda, Africa, Laurence was then a Clerk in Holy Orders.
On the 1st June 1950, Laurence arrived back at London, from Uganda, with his wife and son. Laurence was now a Priest.
Their address was given as 197 Damson Lane, Solihull, Warwickshire.
At this point there are no other facts other than I believe him to have been
Rector of Broadwas, from 1953 -1955.

On the 26 August 1962, Rev. Laurence Blackburn passed away, in the Leeds Road Hospital, Bradford, Yorkshire. [1903-1962]
