Many thanks to, Rose at the Talbot for this photo, taken from their 40 years celebration board.
I would imagine this view of the Talbot is showing a cyclists outing. One of the men is riding a three wheeler.
My first attempt at riding a bicycle was when I had one bought me for my birthday. My brother helped me and promised he would be keeping hold of the bike. As I started to pedal, everything went fine untill I realised he had actually let go! and I was riding on my own, at which point I promptly fell off the bike!
The good thing is once you have learnt you never forget. The bike was great because I could then start doing a local paper round and earn a little money. The paper round I did was the Worcester Evening News, and I used to collect the covered roll of papers from the bus shelter, and then deliver them to all the local villagers.
