Croquet at the Sanatorium  Knightwick.

Here is the same photograph as the previous one but this time in colour 1906 (Many thanks to Major [Retd] Janet Brodie-Murphy).

Here we have a number of people playing croquet. Except for the nurse, I assume that all the rest are patients at the Sanatorium. A gardner can be seen in the background and more nurses are standing at the entrance to the house.

Croquet is a sport that involves hitting wooden or plastic balls with a mallet through hoops embedded in a grass playing court.
