George Dunn, of FinstallAgberrow was an area on Ankerdine Hill, where in my childhood the Sanatorium Hospital for TB
sufferers was situated. After a cure was found for TB the Sanatorium became obsolete and was
bought and renamed, The Sunningdale Estate. The entrepreneur who bought it, turned it into a
holiday place and the old ward rooms were turned in to chalets. Eventually the place became
outmoded and it was again sold. The estate was then modernised, all the old chalets were
removed and new houses went up in their place. The name Bury used here is actually Berry.
Philip Grubham and Eliza Berry were my great-grandparents.
