Formerly lived at 349 Mile End Road, Stepney, E.
An old Oldswinford boy.
Was elected Church Warden for Doddenham 1887.
Is also Guardian & Way Warden.

Alleged Game Trespass. - Benjamin Preece and Thomas Browning, of Doddenham, were charged
with comitting trespass for game on the land of Henry Andrews, of Doddenham, on the 12th
December. This case was adjourned from last Petty Sessions. Mr. Warren Tree appeared for the
complainant, and Mr. Bentley for the defence. Mr. Bentley called several witnesses to prove that
the defendants had no guns as alleged while they were on Mr. Andrew's land; andMr. Adams,
who was called by Mr. Tree, could not say positively whether they had guns or not, but they had
guns when they got over the fence into Mr. Browning's land. The summons was dismissed.
