William Roberts was headmaster at Kings School, Worcester, until
1788 and he was married to Sarah, the daughter of Richard
Turner.

He graduated from Oxford with an M.A. in 1788. He was Rector of
Broadwas, Worcestershire, from 1783 until his death
10th October, 1814.

Reverend William Hancock Roberts graduated with a Doctor of
Divinity (D.D.)

On 25th August, 1795, in the London Gazette.
29th Regiment of Light Dragoons, Rev. William Hancock Roberts D.D.
to be Chaplain.

The Rev. William Hancock Roberts, late of Magdalen Hall,
Oxford, was instituted by the right Rev. the Lord Bishop
of this diocese to the rectory of Broadwas, on the
presentation of the dean and chapter of Worcester.
