Øverbygd Church (Norwegian: Øverbygd kirke) is a parish church in the municipality of Målselv in Troms county, Norway. It is located in the Øverbygd area of Målselv, about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) southwest of Skjold. The church is part of the Øverbygd parish in the Indre Troms deanery in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The white wooden church was built in 1867.

During the service Bjørn Vida's partner Lene, sang two solos, one a special song about the area, called 'Måselv song'

After the funeral 50 people joined the family for a light lunch at a café in Øverbygd. Then the family and relatives went back to the farm house, where Birger and his wife Ester had lived together for many years. The day after the funeral, would have been Far's 99th Birthday, Mor went to the farm, for afternoon coffee and cakes and everyone there, wished Far, a Happy Birthday.
