Worcester Chronicle 3rd June, 1882. Found drowned - The body of George Ainge, who was accidentlly
drowned in the Teme at Lulsley, whilst sheep washing on the 18th instant, was found on Monday about
four miles further down stream. On Wednesday, Mr. W. S. P. Hughes, County Coroner, held an inquest at
Knightwick, and the circumstances under which deceased lost his life having been described, the Jury
returned a verdict of "Accidentally drowned", and added that better protection should be given men
washing sheep in the river.

Octavus Fox was born on the 24th August, 1810, at Lower Clapton, St. Johns, Hackney, Middlesex.
His parents were William and Harriet Fox [nee Hall]
Octavus also had five brothers:-
Frederick Fox - b. 1797
Adrian Fox - b. 1798
George William Fox - b. 1799
Edmund Fox - b. 1801
Thomas Hall Fox - b. 1803

He married Maria Elizabeth Sheppard, on the 13th December, 1852, Worcester.
Maria was born on the 8th April, 1821, in Martley Reg.
Octavus Fox was the Rector of Knightwick.

In the 1851 census, at the age of 40 and one year before his marriage Octavus was living at
College Green, Clapton. Here he was M.A. Clergyman, not having care of souls, Head Master of
Grammar School.

Henry Caswell was the son of Thomas and Ann Caswell.
He was baptised, 31st July, 1815, Knightwick with Doddenham.

Jane may be buried here too, but there is no
inscription to corroborate this.
