Mrs. Loullie Sylvia Maud Clare Gimson, of Thorney, Knightwick, Worcestershire, wife of Joseph Forsyth Gimson, chairman of the Worcester Porcelain Company, who died on July 16th, aged 60, left £44,371 (44,246 net). Duty £13,313.
She desired that her horses, donkeys, and cats be painlessly destroyed as soon as possible after her death.
She left £5,00 equally between her manservant and his wife Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Webb. £50 to her domestic help, Dorothy Hunt, £1,000 each to the Brooke Hospital for Animals, Cairo, the Society for the Protection of Animals in North Africa, the RSPCA and the PDSA.
Four portraits are bequeathed to the Irish National Portrait Gallery, her diamond eternity ring : as a memento" to Miss Hayward of Lyttelton Road, Droitwich. £10,000 to her cousin, Olive Mary de Bathe Wood, £1,000 each to Anita Walshe.
Subject to a few other specific bequests, the residue to Rosalys Walshe if she survives her by 28 days, otherwise to Anita Walshe.
