The Mount was owned by several people, by 1923 - 1928, it was a College. 1934 - 1950, a School. 1951 - 1988/89, a Residential Home. 1988/89, the house was demolished and several large house were built on the grounds. More Information

The grounds of The Mount contained several ornate greenhouses, (this I am sure would have been one of the main jobs my great grandfather would have been involved in and plants for the grounds would have been cultured in them) tennis courts and a moat.
