On the Register they updated the name of the next person they married in pencil, so Barbara Bruton later married a Hunt (she was probably Lily Maud Bruton's daughter and Lily Maud Bruton was most likey Mary's sister). Mary who along with her sister was originally nee Davies was already a widow from her first husband Joseph Doman (who died in 1930) and pencilled in is her next name Jones after marrying my grandfather, John William Jones.
Mary was 52 in 1952 when she married Grandpa. On the Marriage Certificate her full name is Mary Elizabeth Davies. Her address given on the marriage certificate is 61 Priory Road, Dudley. This would have been next door to number 59 Priory Road, which is where she was living in the 1939 Register above. Her occuption on the marriage certificate was Cook, Supervisor.
