Broadwas Platoon at Woodford House, Knightwick.

Photograph (Many thanks to Major [Retd] Janet Brodie-Murphy) of the Broadwas Platoon of the Malvern Battalion, illustrates very well the standard Worcestershire Home Guard ammunition store, constructed with Anderson shelter sections on a brick and concrete plinth. 80 of these had been supplied by the TAA up to October 1941. This one was located in the back garden of the K Company Commander, Dr Clarke, at Knightwick.
